Awakin is a fast growing provider of Tourism, Heritage & Educational mobile digital content. Awakin was established in April 2004, and was previously part funded by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board to develop new, innovative and exciting digital interpretations in order to promote Northern Ireland as a leading tourist destination.

Our unique and innovative approach to development is currently leading the way in which audio-visual user experiences are delivered through a range of new media platforms. Our solutions ensure that our clients are at the forefront of technology delivery.

Awakin currently offers audio-visual trails and downloadable Podcasts, playable through multimedia devices or delivered via the Node Explorer handheld device. Awakin aims to become the primary provider of audio-visual interpretation experiences within Ireland.

Matt has ten years experience as a broadcast journalist and as director / producer of media projects for a range of clients from the tourism, education and corporate sectors.

Caroline Marshall

Caroline Marshall worked for 15 years in radio and television production at the BBC. She has experience of studio and location based programmes and has worked as a researcher, production
assistant, assistant producer and producer.


Dr Bob Curran
Historian
Bob is a native of County Down. He has published extensively on history and folklore, not only in the United Kingdom but in France, Italy, Germany, Mexico and Japan.


Will Wellesley-Davies
Design Director
Will is an award winning designer, who's been at the forefront of interactive design for 14 years. He has developed ground breaking solutions for government and corporate clients.
As senior designer at the BBC for 5 years he also has extensive experience in the entertainment and education sector.


Tracey Curtis
Project Manager / Producer
Tracey has worked within the Interactive Digital Media industry for nearly 7 years and has managed projects across all digital media platforms.
